Secaucus Police Blotter, Dec. 26 - Jan. 1

It was relatively quiet in town in the week after Christmas:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police, and unedited by Patch, here are all the arrests in town in the week between Christmas and New Year's, 2017:

On December 26 at 1:59 a.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 38yo male, Jabbaar Evans of Paterson was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $500 from Paterson. Mr. Evans posted bail, was issued 2 MV summonses (Improper Display, Driving While Suspended), then released.

On December 26 at 12:52 p.m. Secaucus police were dispatched to the Monmouth County Correctional Facility to take custody of a 42yo male, Mike Delgado of Union City. Mr. Delgado had four outstanding warrants totaling $2,215 from Secaucus, North Bergen and Clark. Mr. Delgado was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On December 26 at 9:24 p.m., Secaucus police were dispatched to Riverdale PD to take custody of a 21yo male, Raymond Sierra of Bloomfield for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $1,000 from Secaucus. Mr. Sierra was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On December 27 at 9:10 a.m., Secaucus police were dispatched took custody of a 24yo female, Brittany Terry of Jersey City for two outstanding warrants in the amount of $700 from Secaucus and Bordentown. Ms. Terry posted bail, and released.

On December 28 at 8:18 a.m., Secaucus police were dispatched to UPS on a call of a worker in Possession of Marijuana. A 19yo male, Serkh Amuntehu of Jersey City was arrested for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)]. Mr. Amuntehu was issued a summons then released.

On December 29 at 8:54 a.m. during a Motor Vehicle stop, a 27yo male, Jorge Sojo-Giraldo of Union City was arrested for three outstanding warrants in the amount of $953 from North Bergen, Union City and Jersey City. Mr. Sojo-Giraldo was issued 3 MV summons (Maintenance of Lamps, Driving while Suspended, No Vehicle Insurance). Custody of Mr. Sojo-Giraldo was turned over to North Bergen PD.

On December 30 at 1:35 p.m. Secaucus Police responded to Center Avenue on a call of a male possibly under the influence. A 27yo male Joseph Lelinho of Secaucus was arrested for an outstanding warrant in the amount of $2,500 from Belmar. Belmar Police issued a R.O.R. and Mr. Lehinho was released without incident.
