SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police, and unedited by Patch, all of last week's arrests in town:
On July 9 at 10:15 a.m., Secaucus police were dispatched to Essex County Correctional Facility to take custody of a 28yo male, Marquis Reynolds of Newark was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Secaucus in the amount of $200. Reynolds was transported to Hudson County Jail.
On July 9 at 4:20 p.m., Secaucus police were dispatched to 50 Hartz Way on a call of suspicious activity. During the investigation, a 30yo female, Latasha Napier of Newark was arrested for an outstanding warrant from Millburn in the amount of $294.00 and a 30yo female also of Newark, Sheena Cross was arrested for four outstanding warrants totaling $1,750.00. Both females posted bail, then released without incident.

On July 10 at 12:52 a.m., while on patrol, Police Officer Roderick Aninipot observed a suspicious person walking around a residential area carrying a woman’s purse in the North End section of town. He stopped a 45yo male, Christopher Murano of Mahwah. During the encounter Mr. Murano was arrested for an outstanding warrant with a bail of in the amount of $500 from Paramus. Additionally, it was discovered that he burglarized two unlocked parked vehicles. He was charged with breaking into two counts of Theft of Movable Property [2C:20-3A] and Burglary [2C:18-2A(1)]. Mr. Murano was processed and transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On July 10 at 1:42 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to 150 Plaza Center Road (by the town ice rink) for a person inhaling a toxic chemical for purposes of intoxication. During the investigation, a 28yo male, Christopher Collins of Elizabeth was arrested for Possession and Use of a Toxic Chemical [2C:35-10.4 B (1)] and [2C:35-10. B (2)]. Mr. Collins was transported to Hudson County Jail.

On July 10 at 8:26 p.m., Secaucus police were dispatched to La Mia Cucina to investigate on a call of a dispute. During the investigation, a 29yo male, Michael Pitts of Newark was arrested for an outstanding warrant with a bail of $74.00. Bail was posted for the involved warrant and released without incident.
On July 11 at 12:15 am, Secaucus Police Department took custody of a 42yo male, Norriell Ferguson of Jersey City was arrested for four outstanding warrants totaling $845 from Secaucus and Jersey City. Mr. Ferguson was transported to Hudson County Jail.
On July 11 at 02:30 am, during a motor vehicle stop, a 33yo male, Luis A. Luna of Clifton was arrested for DUI. Mr. Luna was issued summonses and released to a responsible adult without incident.
On July 11 at 5:47 am, Secaucus police took custody from North Bergen Department of a 31yo male, Hiram Sanon of West New York for three outstanding warrants totaling $2,800.00 from Secaucus, Union, and Rahway. Mr. Sanon posted bail, then released.
On July 12 at 12:15 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus police arrested the following: A 20yo male, Frederick Castillo of Union City for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10a(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. 18yo male, Haxner Castro of Union City for Possession of Hash Oil [2C:35-10a(4)] and 19yo, Cesar Delgado of Union City for Possession of Marijuana [2C:35-10a(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. All were issued summonses and released.
On July 12 at 1:31 p.m., during a follow-up investigation, the Secaucus detective division arrested a 44yo female, Kristie Maldonado of Secaucus for an alleged theft [2C:20-3] that occurred at Hudson Bread. Mrs. Maldonado was issued a summons then released. She is accused of stealing a March of Dimes collection jar.
