Secaucus Police Blotter, May 4 - May 10

There was a drunk driving arrest on Paterson Plank Road last week:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus police, all of last week's arrests:

On May 4 at 2:34 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the area of 2 Radio Avenue on a report of a suspicious male. During the investigation, the police arrested a 23-year-old male, Rasheed Smith of Gwinn Oak, Maryland for Possession of CDS believed to be Marijuana [2C:35-10A(4)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Smith was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On May 10 at 9:25 p.m., Secaucus police responded to the area of 1536 Paterson Plank Road on a report of a theft of a cellphone. During the investigation, the police arrested a 54-year-old male, Ashok Mahant of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Mahant was served his motor vehicle summons for Driving While Intoxicated along with an additional six motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
