Theft Charge At Secaucus Buffalo Wild Wings

A waiter at the Secaucus Buffalo Wild Wings is accused of taking approximately $600 from a wallet someone dropped in the parking lot.

SECAUCUS, NJ — A waiter at the Secaucus Buffalo Wild Wings is accused of stealing approximately $600 from a wallet someone dropped in the parking lot.

This happened this past Saturday night, May 6, say Secaucus Police. This was first reported in this week's Secaucus police blotter.

A customer leaving the Wild Wings found the wallet in the parking lot at 11:35 p.m., and brought it to the restaurant front desk.

That person also contacted Secaucus Police to tell them he found the wallet. Secaucus Police went to the Buffalo Wild Wings Saturday night. There, they met with the wallet's owner, who said it was missing money.

The server, Nicholas Georgetti, 29, of North Bergen, spoke to police and admitted to officers he had taken money out of the wallet, said police. Police say he took approximately $604 out of the wallet.

At 1:51 a.m. Georgetti was charged with Theft of Property Lost/Mislaid [2C:20-6]. He was issued a summons to appear in court and released from police custody.
