South Brunswick Car Burglaries: 3rd Warrant Issued
He is suspected of a car break-in in the Summerfield development Sept. 1. South Brunswick and East Brunswick have seen 60+ car break-ins.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — South Brunswick police say this man is wanted for a car break-in in the Summerfield development on Sept. 1.
Police say that surveillance cameras in the area show Antoine McDonald, 19, pictured above, and an accomplice entering an unlocked car and rummaging through the center console.
McDonald is only the latest suspect in a rash of unlocked car burglaries in South Brunswick Township. As we reported, there have been more than 60 car break-ins this summer and into September in South Brunswick and East Brunswick.

Police have been aggressive about making arrests in the break-ins: As Patch reported, a warrant was issued Sept. 13 for Alexander Allen, 26, for an attempted car burglary on Deans Lane on September 3. Police say Allen's fingerprint was recovered from the car. Before him, a Helmetta man was arrested August 15 and charged with entering cars in Old Bridge, East Brunswick, Jamesburg, Monroe and South Brunswick.
Police have information that McDonald may have left New Jersey and are requesting the public's assistance in locating him. Police ask anyone with information on McDonald’s whereabouts to contact South Brunswick Police at (732) 329-4646.

"It does not appear that the suspects in these incidents are connected at this time. I again want to thank all of the residents who have assisted with solving these cases. Their involvement has truly made a difference.”
