On Sunday, March 25 at 4pm, the South Brunswick Clergy Association (SBCA) will be hosting the first in a series of "Help Your Neighbors" concerts to raise funds to help needy groups in our South Brunswick community. The South Brunswick Clergy Association is an interfaith collective that meets on a monthly basis, rotating between different houses of worship. The Association is comprised of religious leaders from both North and South Brunswick, currently representing people of faith from Islamic, Jewish and Christian (Episcopalian, Lutheran, Presbyterian, Reformed) traditions.
The concert, entitled "The Musical Angels" will be held at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Kendall Park (3330 Route 27, Kendall Park, 732-297-1200).
The concert will bring together musical talents among the clergy and laity of the various traditions including New York-based professional jazz trombonist Conrad Herwig, master¹s student of collaborative piano at the Julliard School in NYC, Lachlen Glen, and the fabulous 9 piece Sons of Tikvah Band, led by Cantor Bruce Rockman of Congregation B¹nai Tikvah,

This concert is part of an ongoing effort to help build strong, peaceful, and lasting relationships among people different faiths in our diverse South Brunswick Community. Admittance to this concert is free; however, all will have the opportunity to participate in a free will offering that will help to finance the SBCA's mission, including the scholarship it sponsors each spring for graduating South Brunswick High School senior whose life most reflects a dedication to supporting and promoting cultural and religious diversity.
