Free Paper Shredding Event In South Brunswick

South Brunswick Township will hold a free paper shredding event for residents.

The mobile paper shredder will be at the Beechwood Park parking lot, 37 Beekman Road, in the Monmouth Junction section of town on June 27.

It will run from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., or until the truck is full.

Residents can bring up to five file boxes or 100 pounds of paper.

Files, receipts, bills, financial statements and other confidential documents will be accepted.

Paper clips and staples do not have to be removed.

Business, commercial paper, books, magazines, newspapers, X-rays, floppy disks and CDs will not be accepted.
