The road, which connects South Brunswick and East Brunswick, had been closed for about eight months because of a bridge replacement project, South Brunswick police said.
The road, used by about 2,500 drivers each day, was closed in September between Route 130 and Deans Rhode Hall Road so crews could replace a bridge about a quarter of a mile east of Route 130, police said.
