South Brunswick, NJ - Yup, South Brunswick's resident black bear has been spotted again.
There have been numerous bear sightings in the area around Brunswick Acres Development this week, South Brunswick police announced in a public alert sent out Friday. The bear is not posing a threat at this time.
A juvenile male black bear was seen at least four different times in the South Brunswick/Princeton area over the July 4th holiday weekend. The bear has been seen multiple times on Ridge Road in South Brunswick, and has now appeared twice in Ridge Road resident Andra Camerota's backyard, including one time where it was chased off by her pet tom cat. That's a photo of the bear taken by Camerota in her backyard, and provided by South Brunswick Police.

It's also been seen in Herrontown Woods off Herrowntown Road; on Clearview Avenue and Tee-Ar Place in Princeton and near the Doubletree Hotel on Rt. 1 in South Brunswick, police said.
The bear does not pose a threat to people, but it will continue to return to a food source, police said. If you leave garbage cans open, unsecure and full of old food, the bear will view that as a regular food source and will continue to return there.
