South Brunswick police were among the more than 3,000 officers participating in Friday's 32nd Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run.

South Brunswick police were among the more than 3,000 officers participating in Friday’s 32nd Annual Law Enforcement Torch Run.

The torch run raises funds and awareness for Special Olympics New Jersey. There are 26 legs of the run, which ends with the lighting of the Special Olympics New Jersey cauldron at Friday night’s opening ceremony.

The 2015 Special Olympics New Jersey Summer Games are scheduled to be held this weekend at the College of New Jersey in Ewing.
