Rt. 27 Shutdown Canceled This Weekend
Starting Friday night at 9 p.m., Rt. 27 was supposed to be closed from Rt. 518 to Promenade Boulevard, and remain closed all weekend.

South Brunswick, NJ - This weekend's scheduled road closure of Rt. 27 has been canceled, South Brunswick police announced late Friday afternoon.
Starting Friday night at 9 p.m., Rt. 27 was supposed to be shut down from Rt. 518 to Promenade Boulevard, and remain shut down all weekend, until 6 a.m. Monday morning, so the NJ DOT could install a temporary bridge for a drainage project. However, that work has been canceled. Announcements will be made when the project will resume, said South Brunswick Police Detective Dennis Yuhasz.
