South Brunswick Announces Major Road Repaving Project: What Drivers Need To Know

Middlesex County's 2026 resurfacing program will bring smoother driving surfaces to two of South Brunswick's most heavily traveled roads.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK TOWNSHIP, NJ — Two major roadways in South Brunswick Township are set to be resurfaced this year as part of Middlesex County's 2026 paving program.

The project includes milling and repaving portions of Rhode Hall Road (County Road 535) from Cranbury-South River Road to Colletti Court, and Route 522 (County Road 522) from Georges Road to Kingston Lane.

Before paving begins, the township's Utilities Department will inspect sanitary sewer manholes and water valve boxes along both corridors to ensure they are properly aligned with the new pavement surface.
