South Brunswick High School Teachers Make List of Area's Best Educators

South Brunswick High School’s teachers have been ranked 49th on a list of the New York City area’s best high school teachers.

Niche.com ranked the teachers based on a number of factors, including parent/student surveys, teacher absentee rates and student-teacher ratios.

According to the website, in South Brunswick:

• the average teacher salary is about $76,601
• only 4.7 percent of teachers missed ten or more days a year for sick or personal leave
• some 6.3 percent of teachers are in their first or second year of teaching
• the student-teacher ratio is 14 to 1
