South Brunswick Launches Curbside Brush Pick-Up in 2016

For the first year ever, you don't have to haul your lawn debris to the drop-off site.

South Brunswick, NJ - In years past, South Brunswick residents had to deliver leaves, yard debris and brush to the Township’s brush drop-off site. However — for the first year ever — South Brunswick Township announced it will have a curbside brush collection beginning Monday, September 26.

Materials must be at the curb (not in the street) by 6:30 a.m. Monday, September 26 in order to ensure collection. Residents are asked to be patient, as the collection Township-wide may take more than one week.

Items that will be picked up include brush, branches, shrubs, bushes that are less than 4 feet in length and less than 5 inches in diameter. They MUST be securely tied in bundles that are less than 50 pounds. Bundles should be placed curbside, and not in the street as not to restrict street maintenance program. Twigs and small branches that are less than 4 feet may be placed in a container.
