South Brunswick Police Investigating Home Burglaries
Police say in two cases, homeowners spotted a man in their homes. He spoke to them, then left.

South Brunswick police are investigating burglaries and attempted burglaries early Saturday morning at homes on New Road in the Kendall Park section of town.
There were a handful of cases reported, and in two of them, the residents spotted a man in their home, police said.
In those two cases, the man spoke to the homeowners, then left, according to a news release from Capt. James Ryan.

According to the news release:
In each case, the burglar gained entry to the homes by opening a first-floor window between 12:05 a.m. and 1:25 a.m.

In one case, the burglar stole keys from a home, then stole a pick-up truck from the driveway.
That truck was later found in Franklin.
The witnesses describe the man as white, 6 feet tall and in his 20s. He wore a red baseball cap and dark jeans.
Police have recovered evidence from the scenes and the truck.
