The National Transportation Safety Board held a hearing into the 2014 crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cranbury.

The Walmart truck driver involved in the crash that injured Tracy Morgan and killed another comedian had been awake for 28 hours before that crash on the New Jersey Turnpike, published reports said.

The findings about the driver’s sleep were among those reported Tuesday by the National Transportation Safety Board.

But the board’s report also unveiled other information:

That limo van had been modified and that made it impossible for the occupants to get out until emergency workers arrived, according to Bloomberg Business.

Those emergency workers also had trouble getting into the vehicle, according to findings released at the hearing, which was live-streamed by USA Today.

The crash occurred at 12:55 a.m. The first responders arrived at 1:14 a.m., and the first two occupants were removed at 1:38 a.m. and 1:39 a.m.

Then, as the patients were removed from the vehicle, there were not enough basic life support units at the scene.
