Watch: Police Release Video Of South Brunswick Vehicle Fire
The vehicle caught fire after it struck a tractor trailer on Route 1 in South Brunswick on Saturday, South Brunswick police said.
As police continue their investigation into an accident that shut down a portion of Route 1, they have released video of the vehicle fire caused by the crash.
Nicole Sentenat, 26, of New Brunswick, who was the driver of the 2009 Nissan Rogue, suffered minor injuries in the crash, but the vehicle was destroyed in the fire.
Around 5:30 a.m. Saturday, the Nissan hit a 2007 International tractor trailer that was stopped at a red light on Route 1 north, near New Road, police said.
