Woman Assaulted, Robbed At Gunpoint In South Brunswick: Police

The incident happened in the parking lot of the La Mirage on Route 1, police said. The investigation is currently active.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Police Department is investigating an incident from Sunday morning, where a woman was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint.

At 11:20 a.m. police said they received a 911 call from a woman, who said she was assaulted and robbed at gunpoint in the parking lot of the La Mirage, 3775 Route 1.

The suspect fired a round into the air from the weapon and fled in the victim’s vehicle, police said.

No injuries were reported, police said, and the investigation is currently active.
