2024 Youth World AIDS Day Inspires Future Innovators

Hackensack University Medical Center, the flagship academic medical center of the Hackensack Meridian Health System, recently hosted the annual 2024 Youth World AIDS Day Conference at the Clinton Inn in New Jersey.

This year's conference brought together exceptional high school students, the future leaders and innovators in the fight against AIDS.

These bright young minds engaged in dynamic discussions, explored cutting-edge research, and connected with experts dedicated to ending the HIV epidemic. Presenters were energized by their passion and commitment to creating a world free of AIDS.

The conference comes at a pivotal moment. For decades, scientists, physicians and activists have battled the AIDS epidemic, witnessing both heartbreaking loss and remarkable progress.

Today, all stand at a crossroads together imparting the knowledge and the tools to these young people with the hope that they will continue to change the course of this disease and ultimately, history.
