A Letter To Voters from the South Orange Democratic Committee

The SODC writes a letter ahead of election day.

Dear South Orange Voter,

We urge you to vote on Tuesday, November 8 to re-elect our fellow South Orange resident, Assemblywoman Mila Jasey, and her running mates, Senator Dick Codey and Assemblyman John McKeon, to the State Legislature.  Polls are open from 6 am to 8 am, at your regular polling place (call the Village clerk if you aren’t sure where your poll is (973-378-7715 x 7724)).

Mila’s prior job was School Board President for the South Orange-Maplewood School District, and she is now the Legislature’s strongest advocate for excellence in education.  Her legislation helped transform math and science programs throughout the State, and she has been fighting to stop teacher layoffs and program cuts.  She also sponsored the Anti-Bullying Bill of Rights Law.

Mila has been working hard to put New Jerseyans back to work and to avoid balancing the budget on the backs of the middle class.  She has fought to restore funding for women’s health clinics.

Please help Mila Jasey, Dick Codey and John McKeon keep up their fight against further polarization of our state.

Vote November 8th!

Sincerely,

Your District Leaders
