Here's your chance to learn first-hand about the candidates seeking your vote in the May 14 Board of Trustees election: attend the debate, sponsored by the Maplewood/SO League of Women Voters!
South Orange 2013?... Village First!?... Don't Just Vote for a Slate? How will you decide how to cast your vote in the upcoming South Orange Board of Trustees election? Be an informed voter-- attend the candidates' debate on Tuesday, April 30 from 7:30-9:00 p.m. in the South Orange Middle School Little Theater!
Sponsored by the Maplewood/South Orange League of Women Voters, the debate will provide an opportunity for the candidates to present their positions on issues of importance to South Orange residents. Attendees will be invited to submit their own questions for the candidates as well.
South Orange elections are non-partisan, and there are no official "tickets" on the ballot. Seven candidates will be competing for three open Trustee seats in the election, which is scheduled for May 14.
