HCK is owned by the non-profit organization HANDS, Inc.  HANDS’s mission is to turn the area known as The Valley into a true arts district.  They buy and rehabilitate old properties turning them into artist live/work spaces, galleries, artist collectives and music venues.  HCK is the music hub of the area, and strives to be a premier destination for live, original music.  They want to provide a third space for artists and art lovers to congregate to share their passions.

All profits from HCK go back to HANDS, and in turn, back to the community.  Guests can feel the coorperative energy and can walk away knowing they’ve contributed to a burgeoning haven for the arts.  Shortly after the debut of the new Brunch, HCK will introduce musical accompaniment to compliment the dining.  Make sure to check their website at www.hatcitykitchen.com for the most up to date information.
