Trustee Nancy Gould Endorses Rob Sandow for South Orange Trustee
Trustee Nancy Gould says vote Row C on May 14th--Rob Sandow for Trustee

On Tuesday May 14 South Orange will hold a Municipal Election for three Trustee seats. South Orange is fortunate that seven qualified candidates are running for these positions.
As a current Trustee, I know that an independent voice is needed on the Board. It is tough to sit at a BOT meeting, in front of the camera, and vote on something that is controversial--but something you know is the right thing to do. I know Rob Sandow and as a member of the BOT he will "do the right thing" for South Orange. As such, I am giving my support to Rob Sandow.
Rob understands the issues facing the BOT. Rob has attended many BOT meetings, has met with BOT members to discuss issues and has volunteered extensively for the Village. Through his dedication he has developed an excellent understanding of how to govern in South Orange.
Among the high points of his platform is his commitment to carefully monitor the rehabilitation of Village Hall. It is absolutely crucial that at least one member of the new BOT watches this construction project, and I believe Rob has the perfect background to monitor this costly endeavor. Rob also understands SOPAC. He is currently a member of the SOPAC Board, and knows first hand the complicated financial relationship between the Village and SOPAC.
Rob will also be a "watch dog" for South Orange's financial decisions. Rob knows that the tax burden for property owners is incredibly high. He will make certain that expenditures and services that are necessary are supported, and those that are not are challenged.
Municipal elections are important. They really do matter. In the next few days please become informed about the candidates. Read their profiles and watch the recent candidate debate (http://youtu.be/I7MDlG8Br_I). And please join me in casting your vote for Rob Sandow on Tuesday.
