Would you like to be a South Orange-Maplewood Adult School volunteer?

As the Adult School enters its 80th successful  year we are requesting volunteers that will share their expertise (i.e. fundraising, curriculum, marketing, development, education).  

We offer a full range of general and specialized classes for adults and children during the year.  For the children, we offer a summer day camp and a very popular Suzuki violin program.  We also currently offer GED and ESL courses.  To support this we have a small professional staff and a Board of Trustees.  The Board has standing and Ad Hoc committees, several ongoing projects, a continuous evaluation of our position, and a progressive vision of the future.  We need your interests, skills and knowledge in order to continue the evolution and growth of this unique institution for another 80 years.
