ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Administrators in the South Orange-Maplewood Public School District recently enlisted a New York-based firm to help find a permanent superintendent.
SOMA school administrators recommended West Hudson Associates of Malden-On-Hudson New York to provide services for the district's superintendent search. The firm was up against two others: Hazard, Young, Attea & Associates from Schaumberg Illinois, Ray and Associates from Cedar Rapids Iowa, business administrator Paul Roth stated.
West Hudson presented a proposal with a base cost of $13,000. The proposal provided the credentials of the search consultant, the sequence of services to be provided, and all required documentation, SOMA administrators said.
