Seton Hall Student Robbed In South Orange: Police
Police arrest five soon after the incident was reported.

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ - A Seton Hall University student was in the somewhat right place at the wrong time as her purse snatchers were caught soon after robbing her, police said.
According to police, on Sept. 24 the student was walking near South Orange Police Headquarters along South Orange Avenue when two people robbed her of her purse. Her friend chased the thieves into Grove Park and they jumped into a blue vehicle on Park Place, police said.
The victim and witness immediately contacted police and provided a detailed description of the robbers as well as the vehicle, including the license plate, police said.

Officers quickly located and were able to stop the vehicle at Turrell Avenue near South Orange Avenue, police said. During the stop, officers determined that the two of the occupants were involved in the robbery and the contents from the victim's purse were inside the vehicle, police said.
Officers arrested all five of the vehicle's occupants without further incident and transported them to headquarters for processing, police said.

Arrested were 21-year-old East Providence, R.I. resident Michael Murray, 18-year-old Dover resident Sharon Yancey, 20-year-old Orange resident William Dixon, 18-year-old Orange resident Zaquan Henderson, and a 16-year-old juvenile from Newark, police said.
According to police, the South Orange Rescue Squad responded and treated the victim for minor injuries.
