Bridgewater Among 'Most Challenging' High Schools In N.J., According To The Washington Post

The Washington Post has released its 2017 list of the Most Challenging Schools in the U.S. Here are the top 25 from New Jersey.

BRIDGEWATER, NJ — Bridgewater has been named the Most Challenging High Schools in the U.S. by the Washington Post.

Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School came in at number 1,319 in the U.S. and 62 in New Jersey.

The Washington Post ranks schools through an index formula that’s a simple ratio: the number of Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate and Advanced International Certificate of Education tests given at a school each year, divided by the number of seniors who graduated that year, according to the Washington Post.

A ratio of 1.000 means the school had as many tests as graduates.

Bridgewater-Raritan Regional High School had a ratio of 2.030.
