Building Sciences LLC Receives Prestigious Department of Energy Award
The Short Hills company helps NJ residents retrofit their homes to increase comfort and energy efficiency
The US Department of Energy (DOE) issues various awards to manufacturers, programs, products, utility companies and contractors on excellence, quality and innovation.
On June 9th, Short Hills-based Building Sciences LLC was awarded Energy Star’s prestigious Century Club Award for excellence in its work performed in making homes more energy efficient throughout NJ. This marks the third year in a row that Building Sciences LLC has received the award, and makes it the only contractor in Northern NJ to have received it three times in a row.
The Energy Star Century Award is the equivalent of the Oscars for the Home Performance Industry. Only 13 other contractors in NJ received this DOE award.
