"Glimpses of the World Trade Center in Film: 1975-2001"

The Springfield Public Library is hosting "Glimpses of the World Trade Center in Film: 1975-2001".  Today's film is The spectacular motion picture that started it all!  "Superman The Movie" stars Christopher Reeve as Clark Kent, mild- mannered reporter for the Daily Planet who is really Superman, the famous protector of truth, justice, and the American way.  With Marlon Brando, Gene Hackman, and many other great stars. The twin towers can be seen in several of Superman’s flying scenes.  Directed by Richard Donner.
