As part of the lunchtime film series "Offbeat Characters", the film Five Easy Pieces will be screened at the library. The film is the story of Bobby Dupea, once a child prodigy destined to be a great classical pianist, who leaves his bourgeois life on an island in the Puget Sound behind, and settles in Southern California, where he becomes an oil-rigger and falls in love with a waitress. Bring your own brown bag lunch.
