Lunchtime Film Series—Five Easy Pieces

As part of the lunchtime film series "Offbeat Characters", the film Five Easy Pieces will be screened at the library. The film is the story of Bobby Dupea, once a child prodigy destined to be a great classical pianist, who leaves his bourgeois life on an island in the Puget Sound behind, and settles in Southern California, where he becomes an oil-rigger and falls in love with a waitress.
