As part of the lunchtime film series "Festival of Food Films", the film Julie and Julia will be screened at the library. The film is the story of a woman verging on 30 and frustrated in a temp secretary job, who takes on a yearlong culinary quest to cook all 524 recipes in Julia Child's Mastering the Art of French Cooking. The film follows both women, played by Amy Adams and Meryl Streep, who while being separated by time and space, discover that with passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible!
