The Springfield Free Public Library continues its lunchtime film series, "Offbeat Characters." As part of this series, the film Slaughterhouse Five will be screened at the library. The film is the story of Billy Pilgrim from a middle class family who becomes unstuck in time and travels to the planet Tralfamadore. He lives his future in this planet with a glamorous movie star and goes through past events of his life.
Patrons can bring a brown bag lunch to the program. Coffee and cookies will be served to the audience at 11:30am. On request, assistive listening devices will be available. For more information, call the number provided.
