The Springfield library will be closed for Christmas from Saturday, December 24, 2011 through Monday, December 26, 2011 as scheduled. Due to flood damages incurred in Hurricane Irene, it is necessary to replace the carpeting in a large part of the library, therefore the library will be closed for carpet installation from Tuesday, December 27, 2011 through Friday, December 30, 2011. The library will be open on Saturday, December 31, 2011 from 10a.m. - 2p.m. New Year's will be observed Sunday and Monday, January 1, 2012 and 2, 2012.
