Born and raised on Long Island, Chris Monty was fascinated with show business at an early age. He yearned to be in front of an audience singing or dancing. Many a party would find Chris performing in front of friends and relatives to a big round of applause. But it was when he saw Red Skelton on television that he knew what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.Chris spent the early years of his career honing his clever material and uniquely physical act. Along the way, he was a writer for several television shows, most notably "The Joan Rivers Show". After years of paying his dues, Chris now performs in the best clubs around the country and is a regular in Las Vegas and Atlantic City.
