The International Film Festival - Springfield Library

The International Film Festival continues at the Springfield Free Public Library on Thursday, May 17, 2012.  The library will screen THE PIANO IN A FACTORY (CHINA, 2010) at 1 pm and 7 pm.  To fight for custody of his daughter who loves playing the piano, a steel factory worker decides to forge a piano from scratch.  In Mandarin Chinese with English subtitles.  This film is 100 minutes and not rated. 

Funding for the film program has been made possible in part by the NJ State Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through a grant administered by the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs and by the Friends of the Springfield Free Public Library.

Admission is free and refreshments are served.  Assisted listening devices are available upon request.  The Springfield Free Public Library is located at 66 Mountain Avenue, Springfield, NJ 07081. 973-376-4930. www.sfplnj.org.  All are welcome.
