Raj Mukherji over an alleged cannabis "cartel" scheme that prominently involves Story Dispensary in Springfield and local licensing decisions. The suit claims a Springfield dispensary used a social-equity partner as a figurehead, while defense attorneys counter that all dealings followed state law and note Springfield police deemed the plaintiff unfit for a license.
   

• Cranford Artist Takes Best of Show as 13 Union County Seniors Earn Statewide Art Awards (rlsmedia.com) — Springfield resident Kathryn Keller has earned third place in the professional craft category at the New Jersey Senior Citizen Art Show, putting a local spotlight on Union County's creative seniors. Her work is among nearly 300 pieces statewide, and residents can view the exhibit in person at Meadow Lakes Senior Living in East Windsor through November 4.
