Funny Girl Comes To Scotty's
Maureen Langan appears this weekend at the Comedy Cove -- just drive around the corner to see a hilarious standup comic

New-York-based standup comic Maureen Langan made her way to the Garden State and will be appearing at Scotty's Comedy Cove tonight and tomorrow night (May 14 -15).
Langan got her start as a broadcast journalist appearing on 'The Joy Behar Show', Fox, MSNBC, WE Television, ABC News, The Onion, and radio stations across the country. She took to standup after experiencing numerous off-the-wall celebrity interviews. "I love satirizing news, doing man-on-the street stuff and interviewing celebs," Langan says.
Joy Behar, of 'The View' and 'The Joy Behar Show' says Maureen is "wry and wicked." Comedian Jerry Stiller compares her comedy to "what James Brown was to soul."A regular at Carolines on Broadway, Langan's wit and high energy has gained her recognition as the 2009 Mac Award winner for Best Female Comic, finalist in the 2009 San Francisco Comedy Competition and named one of the Ten Standout Stand-ups Worth Watching by Backstage Magazine.
