Lunchtime Film Series at Springfield Public Library on Monday, May 11th

Monday, May 11th at 1 pm the "Barbara Stanwyck Classics" series continues. Springfield Free Public Library, 66 Mountain Ave.

Ms. Stanwyck plays a turn-of-the-century actress, long divorced from her husband Richard Carlson, who returns to her home town to watch her daughter perform in a high school play. Also starring Maureen O’Sullivan. The film was based on a novel by Carol Brink and was directed by Douglas Sirk and produced by Ross Hunter. 70 minutes.
Admission is free. Patrons can bring lunch - juice and coffee or cookies are served at 12:30 pm
