Opinion: Gov. Christie Pension and Benefits Reform
What do you think of the governor's plan to raise pension and benefits costs for public workers?

The New Jersey State Senate passed legislation to reform state employees benefits and pensions by a 24-15 margin on Monday. The bill, heavily pushed by Governor Chris Christie, would greatly increase public worker contributions to health benefits and pension payments. The legislation will be brought before the State Assembly for a vote this Thursday.
Patch would like to hear your thoughts on the issue. Do you support the legislation? How do you believe Springfield will be affected should the bill pass? What alternatives would you propose? Please leave your opinions in the comment section.
