• Big Ten Announces Hosts For 2026-27 Olympic Sports Tournaments And Championships (bigten.org) — Springfield will host the Big Ten Men's Golf Championships at Baltusrol Golf Club from April 30 to May 2, 2027, bringing a major collegiate event to town. The conference also announced dates and locations for dozens of other Olympic sports tournaments nationwide, but Springfield's role centers on welcoming top men's golf teams to its renowned course.
