Read Across America is the annual celebration of Dr. Seuss' birthday,
and the Springfield Free Public Library will again host our own jollification of
this national event on Saturday March 1st from 2:00 to 4:00 pm in the
Donald B. Palmer Museum.
Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss! You brought so much joy to reading!
We'll have Birthday Cake & Punch, Face Painting, Crafts,
Read-alouds (with an American Sign Language Interpreter!) and a Photo
Shoot.
