
Eight Springfield Employees were recognized for their service to the Township at a morning “Mugging event” this week.
Township Administrator Anthony Cancro gave eight employees with superlative service records mugs in recognition of their on-the-job achievements. Before presenting the mugs, provided by Investor’s Savings Bank, Cancro spotlighted the how each employee was an asset to the Township, and thanked them each for “making a difference.”
Steve Tullo was recognized for his work maintaining police, fire, OEM and DPW vehicles. Cancro noted that Tullo has saved Springfield tax payers considerable money by doing as much work in house as possible, minimizing down time for the township vehicles.

In his comments, Cancro praised Tullo for his work and his personality.

“He goes about his business quietly, but confidently,” Cancro said. “Unless he’s under a vehicle and things aren’t going his way—you might hear a few choice words.”
