Sweet Summer Fun!

Campers at Saint James the Apostle summer camp in Springfield recently spent a delicious day participating in a Cupcake Challenge. Mr. Ricketts of Delightful Cake Kreations in Springfield brought in cupcakes and decorations for campers to try their hand at cupcake decorating. What better way to spend a summer day! Campers also participated in a Cooking Week Challenge, making minion cookies and pizza bagels after their field trip to see the premiere of the Minions movie. Earlier in the summer the camp held “Frozen Week” with activities related to the popular Disney movie. This week, campers will be celebrating “Christmas in July” while later camp themes include “Mad Science’”, “Color Challenge”, and “Tropical Escapades”. Summer fun at its best!
