Family & Children's Services strengthens individuals and families by providing comprehensive, personalized behavioral health and social services with a priority on serving those most in need of services.
Founded in 1893, the Agency focused its efforts on protecting at-risk children and assisting disadvantaged families. FACS’ services in foster care, adoption and child abuse prevention predate existing state child welfare programs.
In 2013, FACS provided a full array of counseling, assessment, referral, case management and support services to over 2600 individuals including child abuse prevention and family stabilization services.
