The Tuckers - Colonial Music Concert

      The 220th anniversary of

the Township of Springfield is April 14, 2014.

There will be a month long celebration of this anniversary, kicking off

with a concert of colonial music by the musical duo,  The Tuckers at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April
6.

Original, Contemporary, and Traditional material: Tom & Marianne Tucker offer a wide repertoire drawn from the folk music traditions. Adept at more than a dozen instruments, they add strong harmonies to create memorable performances.

Marianne & Tom have performed at festivals, theaters, folk clubs and fairs throughout the Northeast and across the country. Performing together since 1972, they have headlined many events and have opened for such performers as Michael Cooney, The Clancy Brothers, and Bob Franke. They have two recordings on Airneal Records, and have appeared on several recordings by other folk artists.

Performing some of the finest music of the 18th Century, Tom & Marianne offer a wide repertoire drawn from the same traditions. With a focus on ballads & folk music, they have an exciting traditional style. Adept at multiple instruments, they add strong harmonies to create memorable performances. They can be seen at many historic sites on the East Coast.
