$15K Rug Stolen From Springfield Avenue Business: Summit Police

SUMMIT, NJ - A persian rug was taken from a business on Springfield Avenue, police said.

The victim told police the rug had been left at the business for cleaning purposes, with a 50 percent deposit made on the item. The business has since stopped returning calls to the victim, police said. The item was described as a red and orange 7’x 10’ handmade persian rug valued at approximately $15,000, police said.
