2 Summit Locals Arrested For DWI: Blotter
A total of $1,500 in jewelry was also reported stolen from a Mountain Avenue home in Summit, police say.

SUMMIT, NJ — Summit Police report DWI arrests, burglaries, thefts and more in the recent blotter.
Summit Police Blotter:
March 22: Danielle A. Schwanborg, 25, of Elizabeth was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Ms. Schwanborg was released with a pending court date.

March 22 at 10:23 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft from a business on Maple Street. The theft occurred between 8:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. when a gym bag was left unattended and unsecured in a gym locker room of the business on Maple Street. The victim reports taken from the gym bag was approximately $20 in cash, several credit cards and forms of identification and a silver Tiffany and Company cross on a chain. Total value of the items removed was approximately $420.
March 24 at 4:56 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft of a bicycle. The victim reports the incident occurred between the morning hours of March 23 and approximately 9 p.m. on March 23. The bicycle, which had been left secured to the bicycle rack outside of the train station was described as a black Cannondale 700 M Quick 5 Rep XL with green lettering, an Onguard Doberman cable lock, a Bontrager Glo light and a Greenfield kickstand. Total value of the stolen bicycle is approximately $711.76.

March 27: Anthony P. Moskal, 28, of Summit was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license. Mr. Moskal was released with a pending court date.
March 28: Lavar J. Lewis, 25, of Irvington was arrested for possession of marijuana. Mr. Lewis was released with a pending court date.
March 28 at 5:23 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft from a Van Dyke Place residence. The victim reports the incident occurred on the same date between 6:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. The victim reported one piece of standing lattice fencing to have been removed from the yard. Approximately value of the item was $30.
March 28 at 7:26 p.m.: A report was taken for a theft of a wallet. The incident occurred at approximately 2 p.m. on the same date with the wallet being removed from the victim’s purse while in a Maple Street business. The victim had miscellaneous credit cards, forms of identification and approximately $150 in cash within the wallet. Total value of the items taken was approximately $220.
March 29: Jose Daniel Aguirre Mendoza, 38, of Charlotte, North Carolina was arrested and charged with simple assault. Mr. Aguirre Mendoza was released with a pending court date.
March 29: Taliah G. Williams, 26, of Newark was arrested for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, and two contempt of court warrants. Ms. Williams was released with a pending court date.
March 30: Joshua Steward, 20, of Summit was arrested and charged with harassment and a contempt of court warrant. Mr. Steward was released with a pending court date.
March 30: Amy W. Knight, 70, of Summit was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Ms. Knight was released with a pending court date.
March 30: Tanya M. Mascarich, 46, of Chatham was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Ms. Mascarich was released with a pending court date.
March 31 at 2:51 p.m.: A report for a burglary to a Mountain Avenue resident was taken. The incident occurred between 1:45 p.m. and 2:51 p.m. on the same date. The resident returned home to discover the rear door had been pried open. Removed from the residence was miscellaneous pieces of jewelry totaling approximately $1,500.
April 2: Robert J. Laudati, 52, of Summit was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Mr. Laudati was released with a pending court date.
April 3: Matthew C. Dudley, 27, of Union was arrested and charged two contempt of court warrants, possession of marijuana, use of paraphernalia and theft by unlawful taking.
April 3: Frank W. Severino, 40, of Phillipsburg was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated. Mr. Severino was released with a pending court date.
