$2K In Gift Cards And Snacks Stolen From Business: Summit Police

SUMMIT, NJ - The Summit Police are looking for the person responsible for stealing more than $2,000 in gift cards and goodies over a two-year period.

According to authorities, the Summit Police Department took a report on May 9 for a theft of gift cards, beverages and snacks from a DeForest Avenue business.

The victim reported that the theft occurred over a two and a half year period, with the most recent incident occurring on May 2.

The victim reported that three gift cards totaling $1,500 had been stolen, in addition to approximately $500 worth of assorted beverages and snacks, police said. Total value of the stolen items from the business was approximately $2,000.
