35th Annual American Legion Fish Fry

American Legion Post #322, and Mason's Hill City Lodge #18, held their 35th annual fish fry fundraiser to benefit their post and it's activities Saturday at the Bank Street mini-park.

Veteran members and friends of American Legion Post #322 cooked and served fried fish, cajun fries, baked beans, coleslaw and soda Saturday afternoon to countless hungry supporters as part of their 35th annual fish fry fundraiser to support their post and its activities.

According to Post Commander William Rapp, the fundraiser is held every year at this time as a prelude to the Memorial Day celebration.

Rapp and members of Post #322 invite all veterans to wear their medals and ribbons and join them in the Memorial Day Parade which will form at 10 a.m. behind The Bouras Building and commence at 10:30 a.m..  The parade will wind its way through downtown Summit and end at The Village Green for Memorial Day festivities.
