SUMMIT, NJ — Road work across several Summit streets is expected to impact traffic this week, with construction and utility projects scheduled from Tuesday, May 26 through Friday, May 29.
Officials said drivers should plan for potential detours, lane closures, and slower travel through affected areas. All work is weather-dependent and may change based on conditions.

- Winchester Rd at Pembroke Rd
- Elm St at Doremus St
- Laurel Ave (multiple locations – PSEG work)
- Prospect St at Larned Rd
- Chatham Rd at River Rd
- Oak Ridge Ave at Greenbriar Dr
- Springfield Ave at Harrison Ct
- Old Springfield Ave at Springfield Ave
- Cromwell Pkwy near Beekman Rd (asphalt restoration)
Wednesday, May 27
Crews will continue utility and paving work at:
